I have drawn animals since childhood, it is just something I have done. This is the link to a short essay as to why I still do this today: Why I Draw And Paint Animals.

However I have a special link to greyhounds in that my father-in-law used to breed racing greyhounds I when I lived in London in the 1970’s and 1980’s I used to love a night at Wembley to watch the greyhound racing and would often visit Harringay and Walthamstow Race tracks.

As my practice has developed I have grown more and more interested in this type of mixed media “drawing” until they are almost paintings. as can be seen in works listed under “Drawing with Colour” on the drawing page.
